Understand this. Crunches will help to a degree. Any kind of exercise will raise your heart rate so it will burn fat. The problem with crunches is that it does not raise your heart rate by much. Sure, but the problem is that they will not continue to work. You will lose weight at first but then your body will adjust to the diet and stop burning fat. As far as diet pills, stay away. All that happens is that you will lose water weight and not body fat.

The right diet will teach you what foods will help you lose weight and keep it off. Also a good diet will teach you not only what to eat but more importantly when to eat. That is the secret to not only losing belly fat but to keep it off forever.
