So you want to lose a little weight. But the big problem you are looking at is losing weight and not sacrificing muscle tone. Seriously, who wants to look scrawny, when you can look fit, toned and strong.

It is kind of ironic that the more “muscle weight” you gain the higher your metabolism will be. The more “muscle weight” you gain the more your body will burn calories. You can turn your body into a calorie burning machine.

It really gets interesting when you think about the food you eat. Consider a little more muscle mass. You could do that. A set of push ups, a set of squats, a little light work with some dumbbells. You could do that. 4 times a week, no more than a half hour session. That’s not so bad. Could actually be fun.

Accompany that with a slight variance form your present diet. Now we’re not talking about eating cardboard. You should enjoy your food. You should enjoy every meal, and you can.

How great would that be. You get to eat well. There are a few things you can’t eat, but it is well worth the sacrifice. There are just a few foods that are absolutely horrible for you. Quitting them would be really good for you. Especially since they make you feel terrible anyway. Who wants to eat twinkies anyway. Yea, maybe when I was five. If you can’t give up foods like that then you have no chance anyway.

Now, start thinking about the increments in which you eat your food. This is it, I promise. You need to pay a little attention to what you eat and also when you eat it. You should eat 6 small meals a day. And try as hard as you can to divide your caloric intake equally between them.
