It is more reasonable to say lose fat, as the term is initially designed for those overweight people who have put on too much fat in their body, and even their organs, which threatens their health. It is true that nowadays, overweight people are still being troubled by such health threats.
However, the term lose fat has secretly changed into ‘lose weight’, for when people does not have excessive fat to lose, they are still making efforts to reduce their body weight. And it has even become a social phenomenon that females are struggling for a bony image of their own, especially in East Asian countries. And it is mainly because of three reasons: first, physically female have more fat than average man, as a result, female have to lose more weight to achieve a visual image which does not contain much fat; second, the bone structure of Asian girls are not as good as the western and African females. Being oppressed to look more beautiful in body shape, they have no other choice. Last but not the least, the recent fashion is that bony is beauty, which forces many plump girls to adapt themselves into this beauty evaluation principle.
Now the question is, what to lose in order to lose weight, and how much can we lose? The most commonly adopted method is to go on a diet. However, most girls are still stuck in a stage which holds a superstitious believe in vegetable and fruit, and which, is never the most efficient, or even the right way, to lose one’s weight. There are mainly two results among people who adopt this method: one is have no obvious result, the other is get thinner, in the mean time adopt a very unhealthy and oppressive eating habit, which does not worth the pay. Another way is to go sporting, which is comparatively healthier than the former one. However, girls may not have enough energy to go sporting frequently, and more importantly, most of them do not have the interest. What’s more is that, if they do not manage their diet well, the result will be the increase of their weight, which goes against their will.
The most effective way, certainly is, diet as the main point, and sports to help the former. However, what to eat and how to go sport, still remain arguable.
